Celebrate H.A.R.V.E.S.T. is hosting its second FARMERS MARKET opportunity @ MARIS FARMS in Buckley, WA. During its Sunflower Days in August & September

The Farmer’s Market, presented by Celebrate H.A.R.V.E.S.T., is a fundraising event for Celebrate H.A.R.V.E.S.T., with all vendor fees going to the local nonprofit and helping support its cause of preserving family farms through non-traditional farming events/activities.

WHEN: The plan is for August 14/15, August 21/22, August 28/29, Sept 4th/5th , Sept 11th/12th and Sept. 18th/19th. Farmers Market vendor times are planned for 10 am to 4:30 pm with the event times slated for 10 am to 8 pm on Saturdays and 10 am to 6 pm on Sundays. Vendors can set up from 8:00 – 9:45 am and break down any time after 4:30 pm. If/when setting up and/or breaking down, you must use your own cart or a Maris Farms wheelbarrow to load items and can use the area between the kids courtyard and corn room barn for access. A “vendors area load/unload” sign will be set up. Please click link to view the vendor load/unload area and where vendor booths will be set up.

WHERE: Maris Farms, 25001 Sumner-Buckley Hwy, Buckley WA 98321.

WHY: The intention of farmers market is to help raise funds for Celebrate H.A.R.V.E.S.T. and provide Maris Farms’ Sunflower Days visitors an opportunity to enjoy locally produced arts, crafts and foods.

As for the Sunflower Days event itself, guests will enjoy the calming beauty of nearly 8 acres of flower fields. Explore, play, dine and sip as part of an unforgettable day at Maris Farms. Experience several fields full of beautiful blooming sunflowers for unique photo opportunities and stunning views. The goal is to offer another unique opportunity for friends and families to create memories while choosing their favorite blooms. This year, the farm will be able to include its Hilltop Playground with admission. You’ll also enjoy an expanded and super cute gift shop, as well as expanded dining options and an adult beverage or two in The BARn, an over-21 beer garden like you’ve never seen.
